love it.
Mr. Scherer put his favorite anatomical torso, which dates to about  1940, on a wood pedestal he thinks probably came from a church, in front  of a vintage mirror in the great room of his Catskill farmhouse.

EAST BERLIN —”This was taken in the old East German part of Berlin. It is a post box in the entrance hall of a classic block of flats—utilitarian in its whole nature, as many of the buildings are here. I’ve always been fascinated by the topography of the old Communist Bloc, and, strange as it may seem, there is a certain nostalgia for these old architectural details. Berlin is changing so rapidly that in a few years’ time, it may be difficult to discern the difference between East and West,”
