Hans Bellmer, La demi-pupée, Die Halbpuppe, 1971
So i’ve been in Berlin for one week and i went to see the Double Sexus exhibition at The Sammlung Scharf-Gerstenberg Museum. It covers the work of Louise Bourgeois and Hans Bellmer. I’ve known and loved Bourgeois’ work for years, but i knew little about Bellmer and i had never seen anything of his in person. I can honestly say it’s one of the few artists that ever distrubed me. If you’re in Berlin go see this, you won’t regret it, although it’s still up for only 4 more days.

R.I.P Dash Snow July 27 1981-July 13 2009
Dash died 1 year ago.
I took this photo in October 2009 at the New York Minute exhibition at the Macro Future museum in Rome. An entire area of the collective exhibition was dedicated to Dash’s polaroids.
